Cardboard boxes - MOST ILLOGICAL

I'm not really sure how it started but I'm guessing it was the same way all questionable, sophomoric and vaguely menacing traditions begin in my home: when my wife is out of town.
The $300 grant the Samaritan Center received from the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency is far from the biggest source of support the charity gets to help with its mission of feeding the hungry.
Customers in search of fresh tomatoes, potatoes, onions and oranges to eat can still find them at the Atlanta State Farmers Market. Although the peak season for fruit ended with Christmas, vendors at the market continue to sell them as they head into a three-month slow period.
Weve all got them. They lie around the garage, hang on the walls of backyard sheds or sit unused in cardboard boxes. But a lot of people could make use of these disregarded tools n the old hammers, screwdrivers, drills or shovels that we no longer need.
A man walks along a line of trucks loaded with mandarins at the Russian-Georgian border, at the check point Nizhnyi Zaramag in North Ossetia, 28 December 2006. In this corner of Russia's southern border, mandarins are not just a picturesque fruit -- they are an economic lifeline for the inhabitants of a poor region.
Many people love living Christmas trees, but the decoration bearing beauties can become fire hazards in short order and must be disposed of promptly.
