Taubenberger launches GOP (Necktie) mayoral campaign

At long last, a Republican has entered this year's Philadelphia mayoral race. Wearing a necktie festooned with Republican elephants, Al Taubenberger, president of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and a former candidate for the U.S. House, announced his candidacy yesterday in front of his childhood home at St. Vincent Street and Oxford Avenue.
